Get ready to celebrate love and fitness at the BCS Wellness Be My Valentine 5K and 1.5 Mile Walk on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in the vibrant city of Manhattan, Riley! This heartwarming event invites participants to run or walk alongside that special someone, making it a perfect way to embrace the spirit of Valentine's Day. The 5K run features exciting competition with individual and team prizes, where two-person teams can enter in Male-Female, Female-Female, and Male-Male categories. With awards for the top teams based on combined ages, everyone has a chance to shine and take home a custom-made Running Cupid medal upon finishing.
As you lace up your shoes for this fun-filled day, you'll also be supporting a great cause! Proceeds will benefit the Manhattan High School cross country program and provide running opportunities for local youth in the Flint Hills region. Don’t forget to indicate your "Fundraising Partner" if you’ve been recruited by a youth sponsor during signup. Join us for a day of love, laughter, and community spirit while promoting health and wellness!

Love is in the air! Come run or walk and celebrate Valentine's Day with that special someone. The 5K run will offer both individual and team prizes. Two-person teams will compete for prizes in Male-Female, Female-Female, and Male-Male categories. Everyone who finishes will feel the love with a custom-made Running Cupid medal.
Team categories are based on combined ages of the two team members. We will award 1st place prizes in for two-person teams with combined ages of 40-under, 41-80, and 81-over.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Manhattan High School cross country program and other running opportunities for area youth in the Flint Hills region. Come join the fun with a leisurely 1.5 mile walk around the Anneberg Park pond and adjacent trail. Walkers also receive a custom-made Running Cupid medal at the finish line. -

Can't make it in person on Feb. 14? That's okay -- we know that Love is Everwhere!! Run on your own time and place and submit your race result on this website. 100% of your virtual race fee still goes to the Manhattan HS cross country program.
