Event summary

Join us for the exciting BCSD Elementary Bike Run taking place on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in beautiful Bedford, Westchester! This fun-filled event invites young athletes to showcase their skills in a series of age-appropriate challenges. Participants from grades K-5 will enjoy biking and running distances tailored just for them.

For our 4th and 5th graders, the challenge includes 5 bike laps covering 2 miles and 4 run laps totaling 1 mile. Meanwhile, 2nd and 3rd graders will tackle 3 bike laps (1.2 miles) and 2 run laps (0.5 miles). The youngest participants in grades K-1 will complete 2 bike laps (0.4 miles) and 1 run lap (0.25 miles). Remember, all children are required to bike or scoot and run the course, ensuring a fantastic day of physical activity and camaraderie! Organiser's Description

Registration will be open Monday, March 10 - Friday March 14
Mandatory race packet pickup outside the Fox Lane Middle School from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17.
The event is at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 18

DISTANCES

* 4th-5th Grade: 5 bike laps (2 miles), 4 run laps (1 mile)
* 2nd-3rd Grade: 3 bike laps (1.2 miles), 2 run laps (.5 mile)
* K-1st Grade: 2 bike laps (4/5 mile), 1 run lap (1/4 mile)

_With an exception for children with special needs, all children will be required to bike or scoot AND run the course._
