Get ready for an exhilarating day at the Beast of the Brazos, taking place on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, in the beautiful city of Waco, McLennan. This open-water swim event offers athletes the chance to challenge themselves with two iconic distances: a grueling 2.4-mile swim that mirrors the full Ironman course and a 1.2-mile swim reflecting the Ironman 70.3 Waco course. For those looking for a shorter challenge, a newly introduced 750-meter swim sprint is also available!
Participants who register before July 25th will receive a swim cap, a stylish Dri-Fit shirt, and a coveted finishers medal. The day will kick off with packet pickup and opening ceremonies at Indian Springs Park, followed by the swims at Dorris Miller Dock. Don’t miss out on the chance to celebrate your achievements during the awards ceremony and enjoy the post-race festivities at Even Hotel. 8:25-8:55 AM: 2.4 mile swim staging
9:00-11:20 AM: 2.4 mile swim (2:20 mandatory cut off time)
9:35 AM: Call for 1.2 mile swim participants to walk to Pecan Bottoms Dock
