In observance of STROKE AWARENESS MONTH, we are organizing a 5K run/walk on May 24 in Midland, TX, to promote awareness and support for stroke survivors. This event encourages physical activity while supporting a worthy cause. Proceeds from the event will go to the Midland Childrens Rehabilitation Center. They are a non-profit organization that relies on community support to provide rehabilitation services to children in the Permian Basin at little or no cost. Their funding comes from fundraising events, foundations, corporations, and individual donors. They provide various therapies like physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
