Get ready for an exhilarating adventure at the Third Annual Belgian Waffle Ride Arizona, taking place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in the stunning Cave Creek, Maricopa! Organised by Belgian Waffle Ride, this thrilling event is the first stop of the Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel series, promising an unforgettable experience in the heart of the desert. Known as the "Hell of the North Desert," this event features challenging race distances that cater to all levels of riders. Participants can tackle the Waffle course (103 miles with 7,500 feet of climbing), the Wafer course (68.3 miles with 4,000 feet of climbing), or the Wanna course (33.4 miles with 3,500 feet of climbing), each designed to showcase the rugged beauty of the Arizona terrain.

With exciting features like multiple unroad sectors, Queen/King of the Mountain segments, and plenty of feed zones stocked with nutritious fuel from F2C Nutrition, riders will be well-supported throughout the race. Plus, there are age group awards and a prize purse for elite men and women, making this event as competitive as it is fun! Welkom to the first stop of the Belgian Waffle Ride Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel…

The Third Annual Belgian Waffle Ride Arizona is something we cannot wait to share with you. It’ll be a unique experience, one known as the Hell of the North Desert. This will be the first of four BWRs that comprise the Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel, with BWR CA, BWR UT and the new addition, BWR Montana in Bozeman, respectively.

The Third Annual Belgian Waffle Ride Arizona is something we cannot wait to share with you. It’ll be a unique desert and mountain experience, which will be known at the Hell of the North Desert.

The Feed is the presenter of our Feed Zones
There are six Feed Zones on the Waffle course (four for Wafer, two for Wanna) to help riders get the proper hydration and nutrition from F2C NUTRITION. The Feed will be providing SiS Isotonic Gels, SiS Beta Fuel Gels as well as Enervit C2:1PRO Carbo Chews and Enervit C2:1 PRO Carbo Bars to fuel riders along the course. Other food and beverages typically on offer: Water, Coke, Bananas, Peanut Butter Pretzels, Fig Bars, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches.

Riders will also have the ability to fill their bottles on course with the F2C Glyco-Durance, blended to approx. 200cals per 750ml bottle fill. All stations are run by volunteers giving their time to make riders' experiences the best ever. Please give thanks to them…
