Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the exciting Black Friday Run Off the Turkey 5k race and 1 mile fun run, taking place on Friday, November 28, 2025, in the beautiful St Augustine neighborhood of St Johns. This vibrant community event invites participants of all ages to shake off those Thanksgiving feasts with a choice between a chip-timed 5k race (3.1 miles) or a leisurely 1 mile fun run or walk.

Starting and ending at the amenity center in the John's Creek neighborhood, this event is perfect for families, with kids 10 and under participating for free! Runners will have the chance to compete for awards in various age groups, including categories for ages 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, and all the way up to 70 plus. Plus, every participant will receive a Finisher's Medal from the previous 2024 event, making it a memorable experience for all.
