Get ready for an exhilarating day of fitness and fun at the Black Squirrel Triathlon, happening on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, in the picturesque Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie! This exciting race is perfect for athletes of all ages and skill levels, featuring a flat and fast course that showcases the stunning Lake Manawa.

Participants will kick off the event with a swim course that takes them on a clockwise route straight out from Lake Manawa Beach and back. Following the swim, competitors will tackle the bike course, which consists of two complete loops around the lake, providing a scenic yet challenging ride. Runners will then exit the transition area to navigate a mix of paved trails and adjacent streets, ensuring a fantastic experience for all.
