The event is designed to be low-key and inclusive, with heats starting in the pool and accommodating up to two participants per lane. With a brief transition period between each leg, you’ll have everything you need to keep the energy high and the excitement rolling. Organiser's Description
Have fun and challenge yourself to complete UWEC Triathlon Team's Blizzard Blast Indoor Triathlon! This race is a fundraiser for UWEC's Running and Triathlon Club. It consists of a 500-yard swim, an 8-mile stationary bike ride, and a 2-mile run on the indoor track. This is a low-key affair, and we encourage participants of all ability levels. Heats will begin in the pool, with up to 2 people per lane. The cycling portion will be on spin bikes, and running will take place on the indoor track. There is a short changing/transition period built into the race format between each leg. To make this race more affordable & sustainable, we have decided not to include T-shirts as part of the race package this year.
