Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 14th Annual Bloomingdale High School Red, White & Blueberry Memorial Day 5k Run and Walk! Taking place on Monday, May 31, 2027, in the charming town of Bloomingdale, Van Buren, this exciting event promises a fantastic day for runners and walkers of all ages. The race kicks off with check-in and walk-up registration starting at 7:30 AM, and participants will enjoy a scenic 5k course that winds through the beautiful surroundings east of town before returning along the shaded Kal-Haven Trail.

But the fun doesn’t stop there—after crossing the finish line, families are invited to stick around for the Bloomingdale Memorial Day Parade at 11:00 AM in downtown Bloomingdale. CHECK-IN AND WALK UP REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN AT 7:30 AM.
Join us for the 14th Annual Memorial Day 5k hosted by the Bloomingdale Public Schools Athletic Department! The scenic course begins at Bloomingdale High School, winding east of town before returning along the shaded Kal-Haven Trail, finishing back at the high school entrance.
All finishers receive a medal!
After the race, stay for the fun! We invite you and your family to enjoy Bloomingdales Memorial Day Parade at 11:00 AM in downtown Bloomingdale.
