Get ready to kick off the running season in style at the Bluffs on the Red event, taking place on Friday, October 4th, 2024, in the picturesque Shreveport, Bossier area. This exciting night run offers participants the chance to choose from 1-hour, 2-hour, or 3-hour race distances, all set against the stunning backdrop of Charles and Marie Hamel Park along the Red River. Runners will navigate a scenic loop trail that spans just over a mile, winding through the park and featuring beautiful views of the Jimmy Davis Bridge and the tranquil pond.
As you lace up your running shoes, prepare to groove to some fantastic Blues and Rock music, stay refreshed with available refreshments, and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere by the Bluffs! Don’t forget to bring your headlamp if you're running for more than an hour, as the event will take place after sunset. Each hour-long race will recognize both a male and female winner, who will each receive a $25 gift card to Run Wild. All participants will also take home a special Bluffs on the Red shirt and some exciting swag. Join us for an unforgettable evening of fun, fitness, and community spirit!

Shake of the Summer Blues with a Launch Party for the running season!
This is a 1 hour, 2 hour, and 3 hour run by Get On A Trail Shreveport LLC and Run Wild. The race will be at Charles and Marie Hamel Park on the Red River; up by the Bluffs. Each loop will be just over a mile and will include a mostly paved loop trail through the park that will be 1.25 miles long down towards the Jimmy Davis Bridge and around the pond. We will have Blues/Rock Music, (Cause that's what Michael wants!) refreshments and fun up by the Bluffs!
THIS IS A NIGHT RUN, COME PREPARED WITH A HEADLAMP; ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE RUNNING MORE THAN AN HOUR. 1 hr participants should not need a headlamp. We will have a male and female winner for each hour.
