Organiser's Description
The Bordentown Hometown Hero Foundation has learned that our local veterans occasionally have a hard time keeping up with therapy fees that are not covered by insurance. When our veterans require routine care, these costs can add up and deter our veterans from getting the care they need. To ensure that our local veterans have access to get the care they need, we have dedicated this years BHHF Challenge Run to our vets.
We are setting a goal to raise $5,000 to financially assist veterans in getting care for mental health.

1.5 Mile Hero Challenge Run

There will be 9 challenge stations along the route manned and led by the Spartans from the Bordentown Spartan Boot Camp. Challengers should meet at the pavilion at Joseph Lawrence Park. Restrooms and the concession stand with snacks and water will be available. Lastly, the trail will be through the woods at the park and on the grass at times. We do not recommend strollers or wagons for this run and to wear appropriate attire for dirt and grass. -
