Get ready to run wild with Flint the River Otter!

The Born to Be Wild 5K/10K/Fun Run is coming to McGuffey Nature Center at the Coweta County Fairgrounds on January 31, 2026. Lace up and join Sole Roots Racing, Coweta County, and the Southern Conservation Trust for a race thats more than just milesits making a difference. Every step you take helps us reach our fundraising goal to support conservation advocacy efforts, conserving land and protecting wildlife in our community. Join us for this family-friendly event! Dress up as your favorite SCT mascot, and each registered child can choose either a Flint the otter plushie or an event T-shirt.

Whether youre chasing a new PR or enjoying the Fun Run with family, youll be part of a wild day that supports natureand you might even catch our playful mascot, Flint, cheering you on at the finish line!

The 5K and 10K course are hybrid 75% road and 25% trail pathway. The trail is suitable for all abilities but strollers will need to be running strollers if used. The 10K route is two laps of the 5K course.

*Participants must register by 01/23/2026 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

8:45am Packet pickup ends, starting line-up & announcements

9:00am 10K starts at 9 am and 10 minutes later the 5K race begins
