BOTTOMLESS TRIATHLON

Get ready for an exhilarating day of athleticism and community spirit at the Bottomless Triathlon, taking place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the scenic Roswell, Chaves. This vibrant event will showcase the stunning Bottomless Lakes State Park, New Mexico's first state park, which has a rich history as the birthplace of the Triathlon Junior Olympics in the 1990s and a qualifying event for the inaugural ITU Youth World Championships in 1989.

Participants can look forward to a thrilling race experience featuring a refreshing 1/4 mile swim in the crystal-clear, spring-fed lake, followed by an 8-mile hilly bike course that promises to challenge and excite. Rounding off the competition is a fast and flat 4K run, perfect for athletes of all levels. This family-friendly super sprint triathlon is an excellent opportunity for first-timers and seasoned participants alike to come together in a spirit of camaraderie. Plus, the first five athletes under 18 in the solo division will race for free!
