This is the 10th annual celebration of this exhilarating 5K run/walk, offering both in-person and virtual race experiences, making it accessible for everyone, no matter where you are! Participants can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with chip timing, live music from a DJ, and post-race snacks to celebrate your achievements.
In addition to the main event, there will be a special 1/4 mile Kids Dash for children aged 8 and under, giving young runners a chance to shine! All finishers will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal, with top runners in each category eligible for fantastic prizes, including unique Breyer models. Plus, by joining this exciting race, you'll also be supporting a great cause—proceeds will benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement, a sanctuary for retired racehorses. AGE CATEGORIES & PRIZES
Top TWO overall finishers in each gender category will receive the party-ready Jewels model, a Traditional (1:9) scale model!
Top TWO finishers in each age category for each gender will each receive one randomly selected Breyer model either Red Velvet or Neapolitan!

KIDS DASH SPECIAL RACE FOR YOUNG RUNNERS!
For our youngest runners, were offering a 1/4 mile Kids Dash for children 8 and under, taking place right before the 5K kicks off! The Top 6 finishers will receive special prizes, making this a fun and energy-boosting way to start the race!

A portion of the proceeds from the BreyerFest Bash Dash 5K will benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement, a non-profit farm in Georgetown, KY, dedicated to caring for retired racehorses. Home to over 250 retired Thoroughbreds, Old Friends offers fans a unique opportunity to meet legendary horses like Silver Charm, Game on Dude, and Patch while promoting education and aftercare awareness.
Visitors can tour Old Friends Thursday - Sunday with advance reservations. Book online at www.oldfriendsequine.org.

Even if you can't join us in person you can still participate as a virtual runner/walker. For a $40 donation we will mail you your shirt, bib and finisher's medal and you can run/walk your own BreyerFest 5K in your hometown. If you want you can log your time online but there are no awards for the virtual race category. -

If you aren't racing consider helping make the race great as a volunteer. We need 10-15 volunteers to work various jobs during a 6:30am-10am shift. You'll earn a complimentary race shirt for helping us out.
