Join us for the exciting "Bringing Light to the Fight 5K Run/Walk" on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in beautiful St. Joseph, Buchanan! This vibrant, family-friendly event celebrates cancer survivors and encourages participants of all ages and paces to take part. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or bringing along your leashed furry friend, this event is for you!
Registration opens at 4:30 PM, with the race kicking off at 6:00 PM for runners and 6:15 PM for walkers. The flat, paved sidewalk course will feature two water stations and enthusiastic volunteers to guide you along the way. Every registrant aged 5 and above will receive a medal and a race shirt, with additional shirts available for purchase. After crossing the finish line, enjoy a festive glow dance party complete with glowsticks and post-race snacks. Don't miss out on this uplifting celebration of life and community!

Organiser's Description
Join Mosaic Life Care Cancer Care as we host a family-friendly 5K run/walk to honor and celebrates our cancer survivors. All paces, ages and furry friends are welcome. Dogs must be friendly to strangers/crowds and others and dogs must be leashed at all times, with no exceptions.
Please register and pay for anyone ages 5 and above. Ages 4 and under are free. All 5k registrants will receive medals and shirt.
Shirts can be purchased separately on the day of the race. If you are just wanting a shirt, they will be $15 for size YS-XL with a $2.00 increase for sizes XXL and up.
