Taking place in the vibrant city of Birmingham, Jefferson, this event promises something for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy the day, choose from a variety of race distances: a 1-3 mile run starting at 7 AM, a 5-8 mile course kicking off at 6:30 AM, or take on the challenge of a long run ranging from 10-14 miles starting at 6 AM.
Join fellow runners at Trim Tab Brewery for a post-run social that includes refreshing drinks, tasty food from a food truck, and even a fun Watermelon Eating Contest! Plus, don't miss the chance to visit The Total Joints recovery tent for personalized physical therapy services to help you achieve your fitness goals. If you can’t join us in person, you can still support the Crisis Center by completing a run on your own time. Mark your calendars for a day filled with community spirit, fitness, and fun!

Organiser's Description
After 10 years of the Crisis Center's Just a Call Away 5K, we're doing something new! Join us and the Birmingham Track Club [https://www.facebook.com/birminghamtrackclub] on AUGUST 16 AT TRIM TAB BREWERY for a run, post-run social, and a bonus Watermelon Eating Contest! There will be drinks and a food truck, and great opportunities to get to know the BTC and the Crisis Center.
This year's race has distances for everyone, with THE 1-3 MILE RUN BEGINNING AT 7AM, a 5-8 mile course starting at 6:30AM, and a long run for the extra ambitious (10-14 miles!) at 6AM.
After running, check out The Total Joints [https://totaljointbham.com/] recovery tent. They offer physical therapy from their locations in Crestwood and Homewood, with a variety of customizable services to meet your individual needs and help you reach your goals.
Can't make it in person? You can still support the Crisis Center and complete a run on your own time!
