THE RACE IS SOLD OUT! However, want to be part of the action without breaking a sweat? We've got you. We're looking for volunteers to help make this inaugural race a success. The CATs are thrilled to unleash this new race as part of a way to keep the trail community together during the winter months. We know winter running isn't always easy, but that's what makes it fun, right? You'll get to run through some amazing scenery, and yeah, it might be a bit chilly, but that just means you'll warm up faster! Don't worry if you're new to trail running - this race is for everyone. Old pros, first-timers, and everyone in between are welcome. We're all about having a good time out there. So what do you say? Ready to join us for some winter trail action? The 2025 course map, elevation profile, and .gpx file will be available on the CATs website. The course will feature ~260 ft of ascending/descending and be made up of 90% wooded single/double track trails and 10% open cross country trails/gravel roads. It will be a loop-style course with very little overlap. There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish line and one aid station on course with water/electrolytes. All registrants (before 11/25/24) will receive a commemorative buff for the inaugural Burke Creek Barn Burner Boco Gear Buff. Prizes will be given out to the top three overall male, female, and age group winners. -
15K Trail Race

The course will feature ~850 ft of ascending/descending and be made up of 90% wooded single/double track trails and 10% open cross country trails/gravel roads. It will be a loop style course. There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish line and one fully stocked aid station on course with water/electrolytes and food. All registrants (before 11/25/24) will receive a commemorative winter hat for the inaugural Burke Creek Barn Burner Boco Gear Pom Pom Beanie. Prizes will be given out to the top three overall male, female, and age group winners.
