The Scranton Municipal Recreation Authority and a volunteer committee is pleased to announce their second Butterfly Run/Walk 5K on Saturday, July 29, 2023. The race through beautiful Nay Aug Park, a 73-acre urban park in Scranton, PA, will benefit an All Inclusive Play Area at the park. This playground will have equipment that kids of all physical abilities can use to encourage social interactions and learning among children. The new play area will be called the Butterfly Playground.
Packet pickup will be Friday, July 28, 2023, from 9am-noon and 6-8pm at the Community Room next to the pool (600 Arthur Ave). The first 100 participants to sign up will get a tee shirt.
