Join us for the 4th annual Camp Blue Haven Flying B Fun Run on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in Justin, Denton! This exciting virtual event invites participants from around the world to gather their friends and family, choose their own course, and enjoy the great outdoors, no matter where they are located. With race distances ranging from a 1-mile walk/run (Porvi) to a 12K (7.4 mile) run (Crest), there’s something for everyone!
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or someone who prefers a leisurely stroll, this FUNdraiser promises to be a fantastic experience. Families can participate in the Porvi option, perfect for kids and those who prefer to walk. And for those who'd like to contribute without running, donations are always welcome. Organiser's Description
Welcome to the 4th annual Camp Blue Haven Flying B Fun Run! This race is virtual, so you can gather your Blue Haven and/or running buddies to run wherever you are and choose your own course! This race can happen in ANY TOWN/CITY in ANY STATE or COUNTRY!
Choose your own distance, find some buddies, and enjoy the great outdoors! Races/Distances are as follows:
PORVI: 1 MILE WALK/RUN
HERMIT: 5K (3.1 MILE) RUN
ELK MOUNTAIN: 10K (6.2 MILE) RUN
CREST: 12K (7.4 MILE) RUN
On the day of the run, be sure to have somebody nab pictures as you complete your race and post them on the Facebook page! (Remember to check out pictures from previous races on the "Photos" tab.)
*BUT WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DONT LIKE TO RUN/HIKECAN THEY BE A NON-HIKER?
For those who dont enjoy running, there are options!!! Yes, they can be a non-hiker!
Option 1: We have our Porvi option which is a mile walk, jog, or run. This is popular for children under 12, those who are pregnant, and those who just prefer to walk in general.
Option 2: Tributes. You are welcome to walk or donate in honor of or in memory of someone special to you.
Option 3: If you would rather not run or walk, please consider making a donation! Simply click Donate in the top right corner of the registration website and fill out the form.
We are excited for this FUNdraiser and can't wait to bless Blue Haven with funds so they can in turn bless teenagers in the place "where campers come to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually".
