In addition to the 5K, little ones can enjoy the Carrera de los Niños, a fun 300-yard kids run for just $10, where every child will receive a medal, bib, and goodie bag! Pre-register before October 16th for the 5K at a cost of $40, which includes a Dia de los Muertos t-shirt, with prices increasing to $45 after that date. Footprints of Michigan is proud to bring you the Capital City D'ia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a celebration of life and death of all ages. While the holiday originated in Mexico, it is celebrated all over Latin America and the US. Come dressed up and ready to celebrate tradition, community, and diversity.
Participants are encouraged to wear traditional Dia de los Muertos face paint, flowers and other attire. FAMILY FUN EVENT!
LOCATION: Granger Meadows Park
COST 5K: Pre-registration before October 16th (all ages) $40.00 - includes Dia de los Muertos t-shirt. After pre-registration date $45.00 (all ages), t-shirt as supplies last Not guaranteed a T shirt.
