This vibrant three-week running series is designed for kids ages 2-14 of all abilities, featuring a variety of race distances to suit everyone’s skill level. Children can participate in exciting events such as the 50 & 75-yard dashes, 1/4-mile, 1/2-mile, and 1-mile runs, with opportunities to challenge themselves by running farther each week.
The Cardio Kidz program not only promotes physical fitness but also fosters social-emotional skills in a supportive environment. Participants will learn the importance of determination and personal growth, celebrating their achievements along the way. With a registration fee of $35, kids will receive three weeks of races, race bibs, a goal tracker sheet, a weekly progress report, and a finisher medal to commemorate their efforts. Cardio Kidz is BACK AT PINE PARK IN HOFFMAN ESTATES FOR OUR 2ND FALL RUNNING SERIES! Join us for a three (3) WEEK RUNNING SERIES FOR KIDS AGES 2-14 OF ALL ABILITIES. Each race takes place once a week on Sunday and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75-yard dashes, 1/4-mile, 1/2-mile and 1-mile run. Kids can register to run UP in distance for a greater challenge. An ALTERNATE 1/4-MILE race is available and a great option for kids new to running. Designed for 2nd-8th graders who may not quite be ready to run their suggested grade distance And THAT'S OK! We hope they will give it a try and will encourage them every step of the way.
