Why This Isn't Just Another Race
Pre-Race Festivities: This event offers early packet pick-up options locally. The Depot on Bradley is where the Expo is hosted. Before the race expo doors open a shake-out and course preview are offered.
The Course: Start and finish in the historic Adamson Square. Youll glide past the water and through the shaded, rolling hills of the Carrollton GreenBelt.
THE VIBE: We don't just hand you a medal and send you home. There is energy from the start line and sprinkled all along the course to the finish. Our post-race atmosphere features music, entertainment, and a food & drink spread that makes those 13.1 miles feel like a warm-up for the party.
THE SWAG: Every runner (individual or relay) gets the "Goodie Trio": a premium Carrollton Half Marathon t-shirt, a heavy-duty finishers medal, and those all-important tickets for free food and drinks.
The Cause:
Every step you take benefits The Carrollton Greenbelt [https://www.carrolltongreenbelt.com/]and The Community Foundation of West Georgia [https://www.cfwg.net/]. This foundation helps fund many projects in the Carrollton and Carroll County area.
To make your race morning smoother, safer than ever, and to account for an expanded race field, we assign corral starts. Corral Starts are based on your expected finish time. No more weaving through crowds or dodging elbows in the first mile.
HOW IT WORKS: When you register, youll provide your Expected Finish Time. We will then group you with other runners of a similar pace. Your bib will display your assigned corral (A, B, C, etc.), ensuring that everyone starts with plenty of "elbow room" and can find their rhythm immediately. Whether youre a sub-90-minute speedster or a steady-paced scenic cruiser, youll have the perfect spot at the start line!
