This exciting event aims to raise awareness and funds for Chesterfield CASA’s vital mission to support children facing abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Join fellow community members at Westchester Commons as you take on the 5K race starting at 9:00 AM or the 1K Fun Run at 8:30 AM, all while dressed in your most creative superhero costume. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, adding to the fun atmosphere!
With registration fees ranging from $20 to $50 depending on the race and date, participants will enjoy a commemorative shirt for the 5K and a superhero cape for the 1K. Remember, parents registered for the 5K can run alongside their child at no extra cost! Don't miss the chance to be part of this uplifting event and make a difference in the lives of at-risk children. Organiser's Description
Everyday in our community, children face abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Many of these children end up before the court, not because they have committed any crime, but because their parents cannot or will not care for them. Chesterfield CASA's (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program promotes safe, permanent homes for abused and neglected children by providing trained volunteers to advocate for them throughout their involvement in the juvenile court process.
Proceeds from registration, donation and sponsorship dollars will allow our programs to support enough volunteers to serve all at-risk children who are referred for advocacy services.

Then on race morning, October 5, at the start line, starting at 7:15 am.
