This exciting 3.1-mile event not only promotes health and wellness but also supports a vital cause—benefiting CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children's Advocacy Center, which provides critical services to over 1,500 abused and neglected children each year.
Participants will kick off the race with a spectacular color explosion, releasing bags of eco-friendly colored cornstarch into the air. As you run or walk around the picturesque spring-fed lake, you'll encounter various color stations that shower you with even more vibrant powder, transforming your race experience into a colorful adventure. Onsite registration opens at 8:00 AM, and each registrant will receive a color bag and a t-shirt, so be sure to register by April 4th to secure your gear while supplies last. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and philanthropy that will leave you and your friends covered in color and smiles!

BENEFITING CASA FOR CHILDREN AND THE TEXARKANA CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER AND THE CRITICAL SUPPORT SERVICES THEY PROVIDE TO MORE THAN 1,500 ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN EACH YEAR.
The 11th CASA & TCAC Colorful 5k is a 3.1 mile fitness running/walking within the 145 acres of Spring Lake Park. The course will take you around the spring fed lake and throughout the park. The race begins with each participant releasing a bag of color into the air creating a beautiful burst of color. Stations will also be located throughout the race route where you will be showered with brightly colored powder, turning your white shirt into a color explosion. The color is made from eco-friendly food colored cornstarch.
ONSITE REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 8:00 AM
***REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND INCLUDES 1 COLOR BAG AND 1 T-SHIRT PER PAID REGISTRANT WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.*** REGISTER BY APRIL 4TH TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT AND COLOR BAG.
***The race will go on in the event of rain but will be cancelled if lightning and thunder are predicted due to safety concerns. Those already registered will be allowed to pick up their shirts at the CASA Office from 9 am - 4 pm daily beginning the Monday following the scheduled race day***
