Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Cascade Half Marathon & 10K, taking place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in the picturesque town of Turner, Marion. This exciting event features a scenic flat course winding through beautiful country roads and lush farmland, ideal for runners of all skill levels. Participants can choose between the challenging Half Marathon, the engaging 10K, or a fun 2-mile race. With water stations and restroom facilities available along the route, you can stay refreshed and comfortable as you push towards your finish line.
All finishers of the Half Marathon and 10K will receive a medal, with awards presented to the top male and female overall winners, as well as masters winners and age group champions for each 10-year category. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy random prize giveaways from generous sponsors throughout the day! The event kicks off with packet pickup at the junior high school gym starting at 7:00 AM, where you can warm up, relax, and enjoy coffee from the I-Jive coffee cart. After crossing the finish line, celebrate your achievements with hot soup, coffee, and freshly baked cookies in the cafeteria. Best of all, proceeds from the race will support Cascade High School

Organiser's Description
The races will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026. The Half Marathon, 10K, and 2-mile races run on a flat course on country roads, surrounded by scenic farmland. There are water stations and toilets on the course. There is an early option for those expecting to take longer than 2.5 hours to run the Half Marathon. Day of race registration is an option, cash or check is preferred, but we will have an option for credit card.
All half & 10k finishers will receive a medal as they finish. Awards will be given to the male and female overall and masters winners in the Half Marathon and 10K, as well as three-deep for age group winners, per 10-year age category. No awards will be given for the 2-mile race. Early starters' results in the Half Marathon will not be considered for overall or age group awards. Packet pickup is in the junior high school gym starting at 7:00 AM, where race participants can relax, stretch, and stay warm. Families and friends can hang out in the gym, too. We will have a coffee cart on site, courtesy of I-Jive coffee. Since the race starts and finishes right in front of the gym, you can stay inside until the last minute! Afterward, you can celebrate your accomplishments in the school's cafeteria with hot soup, coffee from I-Jive, and freshly baked cookies!
Proceeds from the race will benefit Cascade High School's track & field program, as well as provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the mid-Willamette Valley who wish to continue their education.

**Strollers are allowed on the race course, but please give an appropriate amount of space to the other runners. Dogs are not allowed on the race course.
