The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon is an annual marathon that takes place in the streets of Green Bay, with all events making their way through the iconic Lambeau Field. Approximately 7,500 runners from all over the globe compete in this world-class event each year. If youre not quite ready for 26.2 miles, there are other events to choose from. There is a half marathon, a marathon and half marathon relay and a 5K run.
The marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier, which means the event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field and the course is certified. The race typically takes place the third weekend in May, and the average temperature in Green Bay that time of year ranges from a low of 45 degrees Fahrenheit to a high of 67 degrees Fahrenheit.

CLOSEDThe Cellcom Green Bay Marathon course is considered to be fast and flat, by race industry comparisons. The marathon will leave the stadium district and continue through Ashwaubenon. Once runners arrive back in the stadium district they will make their way to the players tunnel and inside historic Lambeau Field to complete a lap around the field before finishing in the shadows of the stadium. -

This 3.1 mile loop begins on Morris Ave. and travels through the tree lined streets of the Stadium District before entering the players tunnel to complete the lap around the field and finishes on Mike McCarthy Way between Holmgren Way and Oneida Street. The event will be chip-timed and awards will be presented to the top three men and women in each age group. -
