Named after the Roman goddess of fairness, AEquitas [https://aequitasresource.org] was established to support prosecutors in their individual and collective efforts to achieve justice in intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Since 2009, AEquitas has been helping prosecutors and the multidisciplinary professionals with whom they partner keep victims safe and hold offenders accountable.
THE 2025 CHAMPIONS FOR JUSTICE RELAY MARATHON IS A TOTALLY VIRTUAL EVENT, AND ALL PROCEEDS GO TO AEQUITAS' WORK TO BRING SURVIVOR-CENTERED JUSTICE AND SAFETY TO VICTIMS OF INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE, SEXUAL VIOLENCE, STALKING, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING. AEQUITAS IS LEADING THESE EFFORTS IN COLLABORATION WITH OUR PARTNERS BY PROVIDING HANDS-ON EXPERT ASSISTANCE TO JURISDICTIONS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING OUTCOMES FOR VICTIMS, COMMUNITIES, AND ADVOCATES.
