Whether you’re aiming to compete for the title of the inaugural champion of the Holly Jolly Jog or simply looking to enjoy a festive atmosphere, this event is perfect for everyone. Embrace the holiday spirit by dressing in your favorite Christmas attire—think holiday pajamas, ugly sweaters, and fun costumes (just remember, no full Santa costumes allowed!). The course is chip-timed and officially USTAF measured, ensuring an exhilarating experience for all participants. Plus, families can take advantage of a special registration package for just $60, covering two adults and up to six children. Ever wanted to race your friends, family and neighbors down Battlefield Blvd? Well, a new, family-friendly, 1 mile fun run and race before the Chesapeake Rotary Christmas Parade will give you the chance to do exactly that. 30 minutes before the start of the Christmas parade, lace up and run, jog, or walk the route - under the lights - and being cheered on by thousands of your Chesapeake friends and family. Add to the festivities with Christmas lights, pjs, ugly sweaters and costumes (no full Santa costumes allowed - theres only one Santa in the parade).
The course will be chip-timed and feature an official USTAF measurement. Runners will be corraled based on anticipated pace/finishing time to ensure competitiveness and opportunity for serious runners to compete to be the inagural champion of the Holloy Jolly Jog.
Are you registering your whole family? We have a family registration package where you can register 2 adults and up to 6 children for $60.
