Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the final edition of the Chilly Cheeks Race, taking place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in beautiful Sioux Falls, Minnehaha! This beloved springtime event promises to be a memorable celebration of fitness and community as it bids farewell. Participants can choose from three exciting race distances: the 10-mile, 5-mile, or the 5K, making it perfect for runners of all levels.
After crossing the finish line, join fellow racers for a delightful post-race gathering featuring hot chili and sweet treats. Although there will be limited picnic table space, be sure to bring your lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the camaraderie with friends. Don't forget to check the awards table for your age group placement and collect your prize! This year, winners will also receive delicious loaves of bread from Breadsmith, and overall champions will take home special awards from Good Earth Farm. Join us for this heartwarming farewell to the Chilly Cheeks Race—it's an event you won't want to miss!

THE CHILLY CHEEKS RUN WAS AN IDEA TO BRING A SPRINGTIME RACE TO THE SIOUX FALLS AREA. THE FIRST YEAR OF THE EVENT THE NAME PROVED TRUE AND WE ALL HAD CHILLY CHEEKS! ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END. THIS WILL BE THE LAST YEAR THAT THIS RACE WILL BE ORGANIZED AND DIRECTED BY THE CURRENT RACE DIRECTOR.
THIS YEAR WE ARE SERVING HOT CHILI AND SWEET TREATS AS A CELEBRATION OF FITNESS AT THE END. THERE WILL BE LIMITED PICNIC TABLE SPACE BUT RUNNERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING LAWN CHAIRS IF YOU WANT TO HANG OUT POST RACE WITH FRIENDS!
WE WILL NOT BE DOING A HUGE AWARDS CELEBRATION PLEASE CHECK AT THE AWARDS TABLE TO SEE IF YOU PLACED IN YOUR AGE GROUP AND GRAB YOUR AWARD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. ANYBODY THAT DOESN'T GRAB THEIRS WILL HAVE THE GIFT CARD MAILED TO THEIR HOUSE LISTED IN REGISTRATION BUT THE CUSTOM AWARD WILL NOT BE MAILED. THIS YEAR AGAIN WE WILL BE WORKING WITH BREADSMITH AND AGE GROUP WINNERS WILL BE GETTING LOAVES OF BREAD. OVERALL MALE AND FEMALE 10 MILE, 5 MILE AND 5K AND AGE GROUP WILL HAVE AN ADDITIONAL AWARD FROM THE GOOD EARTH FARM!

This is an out and back course starting at Riverdale Park we will head South due to construction on the bike trail. There is a 2.5 hour time limit for the 10 Mile course. Please make sure you can make that time when signing up. -
