Join us for the Chris Shultz Memorial 5K Run Walk on Sunday, June 28, 2026, in the beautiful town of Millville, Columbia. This uplifting event honors the memory of Chris Shultz, a beloved teacher and community member who inspired many throughout her life. After losing her battle with leukemia in 2010, Chris left behind a legacy of positivity and support, which we continue to celebrate through this event.
Participants can choose to run or walk the scenic 5K course, and there are plenty of ways to get involved—whether you're racing for a clocked result, enjoying a leisurely walk, or cheering on your friends and family from the sidelines. This event not only promotes a healthy lifestyle but also raises funds for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Camp Courage, which supports grieving children. Come together with the community to honor Chris, have fun, and contribute to two wonderful causes!

Organiser's Description
On January 27, 2010, Chris Shultz lost her battle with leukemia at 40 years of age. A native of Millville, PA, she left behind not only a young family and dear friends but a whole community that felt the loss. As a teacher, she inspired many to find their best in a spirit of safe, positive fun. Friends of Chris seeks to continue that atmosphere as we raise funds for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Camp Courage . Please join us for a great time for these two great causes.
