Get ready to celebrate the spirit of Christmas in July with the Fox Mound 5K, taking place on Saturday, July 19th, 2025, in the charming town of Adrian, Nobles. This exciting annual event kicks off at 8:00 AM, starting and finishing at the Adrian Football Field, with registration opening at 7:15 AM. Runners will enjoy a scenic 3.1-mile loop primarily on gravel, showcasing the beautiful surroundings of Fox Mound.
This year, the event will also feature a special youth race for kids aged 11 and under, who can participate in a fun 1/2 mile run on the track. While no awards will be given for the youth race, every participant will receive a goodie bag and a refreshing sports drink. For the 5K, awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three runners in each age group. Don’t forget to register by July 1st to ensure you receive your event shirt. Parking is conveniently available near the race area, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Organiser's Description
The annual Christmas in July Fox Mound 5K will take place on Saturday, July 19th. The race will begin and finish at the Adrian Football Field. The race will begin at 8:00 AM with registration beginning at 7:15 AM. Online registration closes on July 15th. Race day registration is $30. The race will begin in town and then run a 3.1 mile Fox Mound loop. The loop will be mostly gravel. The race will end back at the football field, finishing on the track. Register by July 1st to guarantee your Christmas in July race shirt. If you register after July 1st, we cannot guarantee your shirt size.
This year, we will also have a youth race this year for runners 11 years old or younger. This will consist of a 1/2 mile run (two laps) on the track. No awards will be given but each participant will receive a goodie bag and sports drink after the race.
The 5K awards will be given at the conclusion of the youth race near concession stand. Race awards will be given to the overall female and male winners and the top 3 in each age group.
Parking will be available on the street near the race area. The address listed is Adrian High School. The football field is located one block SOUTH of the school, where the race will take place. Check Google Maps to find the track and it's proximity to the high school if there is any confusion.
