Get ready for an exciting day of running at the City of Champions Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in the charming city of Gadsden, Etowah. This vibrant event invites runners of all levels to enjoy a moderately challenging course that showcases some of Gadsden's most picturesque highlights. The half marathon and 10K races kick off at 7:30 AM, followed by the fun and energetic 5K starting at 8:00 AM.
Participants will begin and end their journey at the lively Back Forty Beer Company, creating a festive atmosphere for everyone involved. All runners will receive a custom medal upon completing the half marathon, and age group awards will be presented to winners of the 10K and 5K. Plus, don’t forget to register by October 27th to secure your event t-shirt! Pre-race packet pickup is available on Friday, November 21st, from 5 PM to 7 PM, and again on race morning from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM. Join us for a day of community spirit, fitness, and fun, all while supporting The United Way of Etowah County

Enjoy a moderately challenging run through some of the highlights of Gadsden. The run starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company. The half marathon and 10k will begin at 7:30am, the 5k begin at 8:00am. All information and updates will be emailed to participants, please provide a valid email address during registration. T-shirt deadline is October 27th. This event benefits The United Way of Etowah County and other local charities.
PACKET PICKUP will be Friday, November 21st from 5pm-7pm at Back Forty Beer Company - Gadsden. Packet pickup is offered the morning of the race from 6:30am-7:00am.
