This exciting event features a unique 5k format comprised of four exhilarating 0.75-mile laps, each ending with a thrilling 100-foot challenge, including lunges, bear crawls, burpee broad jumps, and a sprint. Open to participants of all ages and abilities, runners can tackle the course solo or team up in relays of up to four people.
The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with the 5k, followed by a special Kids Run for children aged 10 and under at 9:45 a.m. The race will take place in the brand-new green space behind the City of Clayton Town Hall, with the festival held at the Rabun County Pavilions. Enjoy local vendors, awards, and a celebration of community after the race! Make history as part of the first ever Claytons Hardest and Funnest 5k and festival! The unique 5k will be set up as 4 - .75 mile laps each ending a different 100 foot lane challenge. Benefiting Place of Hope North Georgia located in Clayton, GA.
Lap 1: Lunges
Lap 2: Bear Crawl
Lap 3: Burpee Broad Jump
Lap 4: SPRINT
The 5k can be completed as an individual or relay of up to 4 people.
The 5k event is open to ALL AGES and ABILITIES (registration required: includes tshirt & finisher award)
There will also be a KIDS RUN for those 10years and younger (registration required: includes tshirt & finisher award)
