FREE FOR CLUB SPINISTRY MEMBERS!
Sweet route utilizing the Fort Worth Trinity Trail network for up to 75ish miles but riders can easily adjust the route for a shorter distance. Almost zero usage of public roads except for a couple of road crossings and one quiet road to cross the river.
The Fort Worth Trinity Trails are a combination of gravel and paved trails along the banks of the Trinity River through the heart of Fort Worth and the surrounding communities. There are amenities along the route for restrooms, food/drink, etc.
Registered riders will receive a GPS file for suggested routes and we will also have a "no drop" group ride. Please note that "no drop" participants should still be experienced cyclists who are able to self navigate and complete their own trailside bicycle repairs and have the fitness for a steady paced ride well over 2 hours. The "no drop" pace is expected to be 12ish mph with occasional stops for regroup.
"Formal" ride options of 23, 40, 66 and 75 miles but the routes can easily be shortened for most any other distance.
