THE SEASHORE STRIDERS INVITE YOU AS WE HOST THE COACHES CROSS COUNTRY EAST COAST REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN GEORGETOWN, DELAWARE AT FAST & FLAT SANDHILL FIELDS, HOME OF THE SUSSEX COUNTY CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS. WE INVITE TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS FROM THE EAST COAST REGION TO RACE DISTANCES FROM 1K TO 4K WITH A SHOT AT COMPETING IN THE COACHES CROSS COUNTRY NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2024. COME ONE- COME ALL TO THE BEACH..."LET'S DO IT".



RACE TIME: 10:00 am start



RACE LOCATION: 20330 Sandhill Road, Georgetown, DE. 19947...(Next to the CHEER Center on Sandhill Road

RACE ENTRY FEE: Event fees are $12 with deadline for entry on 10/31/24 at 10 pm. We will have a "last chance" window on race morning 11/3/24 from 8 am - 9 am where you can still register for the meet for $15 cash, however I encourage all participants to get pre-registered and not to wait till race day.

RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.



RACE AMENITIES: T-Shirts will be for sale at the Large Pavillion. Refreshments will also be for sale...A list of refreshments that we have served in the past are listed here: Coffee, Breakfast Sandwiches, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Tenders, Possibly Mac & Cheese. Kona Ice will also be on site.



AWARDS: Awards presented to the top 20 finishers in each combined race (not single age group).

* Division is based on your age on 12/31/24
* If you "age up" after the meet you must "run up" meaning if you are a 12 year old girl on 11/3 and your birthday in December 20th you must race in the 13-14 Youth Division.



MEET SCHEDULE: Meet may run up to 30 minutes ahead or behind schedule...please be ready for your race. We will not start a race before the previous race finishes.

* 7:00am ->>>. Teams & Individuals arrive at SANDHILL FIELDS...Please do not arrive before 7am and there is no overnight accommodations on site.
* 8:00 - 9:00am..."Last Chance" Registration
* 9:00 - 9:30am...All Course Walks will take place...Please be at the starting line with your Seashore Strider Course Leader
