With registration fees starting at just $35, participants of all ages are encouraged to join in the fun. Plungers will receive a 2024 branded t-shirt, so be sure to register by October 26th to guarantee your size! Take a 'cold-stunned' plunge into the chilly Atlantic in support of sea turtles on the Georgia coast! Join us for the annual fun-and-frigid fundraising event for the Jekyll Island Authority's Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Many sea turtles get caught in hypothermic water temperatures during the winter months, and your support will assist with cold-stun rehabilitation and recovery. Take the plunge and raise some funds!
Where: Take an icy dip in the beach waters at the Jekyll Island Beach Village
WHEN: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2024, AT 10:30 A.M.
REGISTRATION OPEN: 9:30 A.M.
PLUNGERS SHOULD BE ON THE BEACH AND READY TO PLUNGE AT 10:15 A.M.
There will be on-site EMS and public safety staff.

Virtual Participation: $40

No refunds, rain or shine event. Canceled for extreme weather conditions only.

Picked the wrong size? - participants are welcome to exchange their t-shirt at the end of the event at the registration table, pending what sizes remain available.
