Take a 'cold-stunned' plunge into the chilly Atlantic in support of sea turtles on the Georgia coast! Join us for the annual fun-and-frigid fundraising event for the Jekyll Island Authority's Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Many sea turtles get caught in hypothermic water temperatures during the winter months, and your support will assist with cold-stun rehabilitation and recovery. Take the plunge and raise some funds!
Where: Take an icy dip in the beach waters at the Jekyll Island Beach Village.
ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 27TH YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR TSHIRT AT THE JEKYLL ISLAND GUEST INFORMATION CENTER FROM 1PM-4PM.
WHEN: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2026, AT 9:00 A.M.
REGISTRATION OPEN: 7:30 A.M.
PLUNGERS SHOULD BE ON THE BEACH AND READY TO PLUNGE AT 8:45 A.M.
There will be on-site EMS and public safety staff.
