Held on the beautiful Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Benton, this beloved event features both a 5K and 10K race, kicking off at 9:00 AM from McNary Field between 11th and 14th Streets. With a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, this run is perfect for participants of all ages and skill levels. Plus, young runners can join in the fun with the 1K Kids' Fun Run starting at 10:30 AM.
Not only will you enjoy a fantastic day of running, but your participation also supports the local community, as proceeds from the event go back to encourage and promote running in the area. Registration starts at 7:00 AM on race day, with affordable fees of $50 for the 5K and 10K, $20 for ages 18 and under, and free for the 1K. WELCOME BACK for the 46th installment of this landmark running event for the mid-valley, an old-school 5K & 10K. We are happy to return to OSUs campus this year, THE RUN WILL TAKE PLACE FROM THE MCNARY FIELD BETWEEN 11TH AND 14TH STREETS. Come for the run, stay for Fall Festival!
The run is presented by Heart of the Valley Runners. Proceeds from the event go back to the community in accordance with the mission of Heart of the Valley Runners -- to encourage and support local running at all levels.
This affordable, family-friendly event presents a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all who want to participate. HOTV Runners members receive a $5 discount on registration for the 5k and 10k through Saturday September 27, 2025. You can join the club as part of your registration and you will receive the discount.
The 5k and 10k both begin at 9:00am. The 1k Kids' Fun Run begins at 10:30am, or shortly after the last 5k/10k finishers.
DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION ($50 FOR 5K/10K, $20 FOR AGES 18 AND UNDER, FREE FOR 1K) BEGINS AT 7:00AM.
