Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the highly anticipated Courtland Pear Fair 5 and 10 Mile Run on Sunday, July 27, 2025! This exciting event takes place in the charming town of Courtland, Sacramento, and is part of the celebration for the 50th Pear Fair, honoring the beloved Bartlett pear harvest. Participants can choose between a scenic 5 or 10-mile race on a picturesque country course, perfect for runners of all skill levels.
The festivities kick off at 7:30 AM, with a special Kids 1/2 Mile Race at 7:45 AM, where young runners will receive ribbons for their efforts. This year promises to be extra special as all finishers will receive medals for their hard work! After crossing the finish line, don’t miss out on a delicious pancake breakfast for just $10-15, supporting local scholarship funds. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit at the Courtland Pear Fair!

JOIN US ON THE LAST SUNDAY OF JULY AT THE PEAR FAIR! IT'S OUR 50TH PEAR FAIR AND WE WANT YOU TO CELEBRATE THE BARTLETT PEAR HARVEST BY RUNNING WITH US! CHOOSE EITHER 5 OR 10 MILES ON OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY COURSE. (UNFORTUNATELY, OUR COURSE AND OUR FAIR DOES NOT ALLOW DOGS. AND, ACCORDING TO MY CHILDREN, IT'S WAY TOO BUMPY FOR THE STROLLER!)
