Camp Crooked Creek is known for its legendary ultra-trail, home to one of the regions toughest and most scenic races. With events like the 50-mile, Marathon, and Half-Marathon, runners from across the country flock here to tackle this beast. Now, its your turn to get in on the action with our Crooked Creek 5K on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.!
This isnt your average 5K this is the Crooked Creek Challenge. Wind through over 1,000 acres of rolling hills, surrounded by towering oaks, hickories, and beeches. If youre lucky, you might even catch the scent of bourbon mash from a nearby distillery while tackling those scenic climbs and descents. The trails natural beauty will fuel your adrenaline as you weave around the stunning 70-acre John Barr Lake, right at the heart of the race village.
