Run as long or as short as you wish- we'll have awards for longest distance over the 24-hour period, most laps in the first 4 hours, most laps from noon-midnight (12 hours), and most laps from midnight to 9am (8 hours). Start when you want, stop when you're done. This course is a USATF Certified 1.178 mile loop (VA17001BDS). Chip Timing will be used.
The course is a mostly flat, non-paved surface (cinders). You might find gaiters helpful!

Teams of 2-4 people work together to run as many laps as possible in 24 hours. There are no regulations on when to "hand off" to the next runner- run as many or as few laps as you want, then hand off to the next runner on your team. Team members can run in any order and can complete both consecutive and non-consecutive laps.
