The Long Island Trail Running Club annual end of the year run across Long Island from the South Shore to the North Shore, why? WHY NOT!? Sometimes you dont need a reason to get up, lase up your shoes and go do something awesome other than the fact that you know there are other crazy likeminded runners who are willing to do the same!!

Since it's a free group run, we are not able to provide an official shuttle but once we are closer to the event date we will begin to organize carpools as we have done in the past. We have people park at the finish line at 6:00AM then we carpool to the start line as well as bringing any bagcheck you would like to use at the aid stations. Then those people who parked at the end can help out driving others back to the start. We'll be emailing details the week before the race and also posting them on the Trail Running Club facebook page.

End of year group 20 miler trail run across Long Island from Massapequa in the south shore to Cold Spring Harbor on the north shore. Don't think you can run the whole 20 miles, you'll have the option of joining for part of the run starting at either one of the two aid stations at Bethpage State Park - 10 mile option, or Trailview State Park - 5 Mile option. -
