This exciting event kicks off at 9:00 AM at Great Crossings High School, featuring a scenic 5K run/walk through the beautiful campus area. Participants will enjoy paved surfaces, commemorative race t-shirts, and awards for top finishers, making this a memorable experience for everyone involved.
The DanceBlue organization, comprised of dedicated students, works tirelessly to raise funds for the University of Kentucky's Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic. With a goal of $25,000 this year, the funds raised will support groundbreaking pediatric oncology research and enhance the patient experience. Plus, students aged 17 and under can enjoy a special discount of $5 off general admission! Come out for a day filled with food, fun, and fellowship, all for a fantastic cause. Together, we can spread joy, honor those we have lost, and celebrate victories in the fight against pediatric cancer. Don’t miss out on this uplifting event!

These students work together to host individual fundraisers that go towards their annual donation total for the University of Kentuckys DanceBlue grand total. In two years, the youth committee has raised a total of $29,812.61, and plans to reach this years goal of $25,000. All donated funds to this organization support groundbreaking pediatric oncology research, enhance the patient experience, and support Clinic Operations. By doing so, DanceBlue is able to spread joy to those fighting, to persevere in memory of the lives lost, and to celebrate every victory until the battle against pediatric cancer is won. If you can't run/walk the race in person consider participating as a virtual runner/walker. You can do your own 5K on your own schedule in your own hometown. You'll earn a commemorative race T-shirt. There are no awards for this event. $30 donation
