Event summary
Get ready for a fantastic pre-Thanksgiving celebration at the 2nd Annual Daniel Island Turkey Trot on Saturday, November 21, 2026! This exciting event kicks off at 10:00 AM from the Credit One gravel lot in beautiful Charleston, Berkeley. Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in a fun 3-mile trot along the scenic trails of Daniel Island. Whether you're a serious competitor, a casual walker, or just in it for the post-trot festivities, this community gathering promises to be an unforgettable experience!
After crossing the finish line, join us for a lively after-party at LIDI Restaurant, where every registered participant will enjoy a complimentary mimosa or beer. Beyond the fun, this event aims to give back, partnering with East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) to collect donations for families in need this holiday season. The first 80 participants who bring items from ECCO's Most Needed List will receive a free Turkey Trot T-shirt as a token of gratitude. So lace up your sneakers, bring your friends and family, and let's make a difference while kicking off the Thanksgiving spirit together!

Organiser's Description
Lace Up, Give Back & Let's Trot, Daniel Island!
Calling all runners, walkers, families, friends, and anyone looking for a little pre-Thanksgiving fun! Our 2nd Annual Daniel Island Happy Hour 3-Mile Turkey Trot is back, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Join us on Saturday, November 21, at 10:00 AM as we kick off Thanksgiving week with a little exercise, a lot of community spirit, and a whole lot of fun!
We'll start at the Credit One gravel lot, make our way along the beautiful Daniel Island trails, and finish right where we started. Then, the celebration continues just down the road at LIDI Restaurant, where every registered participant will receive a complimentary mimosa or beer to enjoy at our post-trot gathering!
And while we love a good excuse to get together, this event is about something even bigger... giving back to our neighbors!
red heart TROT FOR A CAUSE!
We're once again partnering with East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO) to help stock their shelves for families in need this holiday season. Last year, our amazing community filled TWO truck beds with donations, and this year, we're hoping to do even more!
As a little thank-you, the first 80 participants who bring items from ECCO's Most Needed List will receive a FREE Turkey Trot T-shirt! (While supplies last.)
Whether you're a serious runner, a casual walker, or just here for the post-trot mimosa, EVERYONE is welcome! Bring your friends, your family, your neighbors, and let's make this another wonderful Daniel Island tradition!
