Join us for the third annual Dashing for Donuts event on June 8th, 2025, in the picturesque town of Placerville, El Dorado! This exciting day features a 5K race along a newly designed course on the El Dorado Trail, starting from the Ray Lawyer Drive Park and Ride. Runners will enjoy a scenic down-and-back route that leads to the beautiful Weber Creek Bridge, and all participants will be rewarded with a delicious donut and a medal upon crossing the finish line.
In addition to the 5K, we invite young runners to participate in the fun-filled 1-mile kids race, ensuring a great time for the whole family. With all proceeds benefiting the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) - Team Teal, this event holds special significance, celebrating the strength of survivors and raising awareness for ovarian cancer. Don’t miss out on this positive community gathering! Packet pick-up is available on June 6th and 7th, with race day options as well. Organiser's Description
I will be holding the third annual, Dashing for Donuts 5K and kids 1 mile fun run on June 8th! We have a new course for 2025! It will be held on the El Dorado Trail from the Ray Lawyer Drive Park and Ride, which is at Jail Street and Ray Lawyer Drive. It is a down and back race. The race will be on a paved trail and downhill to the middle of the Weber Creek Bridge and then you go back up. Once you're finished, you get a donut and a medal. The 5K race will happen first and then we will have the kids 1 mile race. Please note: The t-shirt logo is the same as last year but the color will change and I am working on a new medal.
All proceeds from the race will go to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, (NOCC) -Team Teal. I am a 15 year survivor of ovarian cancer and a team member of NOCC - Team Teal to run the 2025 New York City Marathon. NOCC helps all women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and educates along with supporting them.
Packet pick-up will be at Kaia Fit, 4615 Missouri Flat Road #5, 4-6 pm on Friday, June 6th or 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, June 7th. You may also pick-up the morning of the race at the race location.
The last day to register and guarantee your shirt size is: May 24th.
Dogs are allowed on the course but you will have to start in the back. Thank you for your support!
