Get ready for a festive day of fun at Dave's Jingle Dash 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Calvert City, Marshall! Lace up your running shoes and don your ugliest holiday sweater for a chance to help raise funds for the Marshall County Family Resource Center. Last year, the community rallied to support Dave Chumbler, a beloved local celebrity, and this year, he aims to raise $3,000 to spread holiday cheer to children in need.
The event kicks off with race day registration from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, followed by the 5K race at 8:00 AM and a Fun Walk at 9:30 AM. With awards for various age groups, everyone has a chance to shine! Don’t miss the chance to shop for toys alongside Dave and the Marshall County Exceptional Students after the race. Plus, make sure to visit the Calvert City Christmas Bazaar from 9 AM to 4 PM and enjoy the evening's festive activities, including the Christmas Parade and Old Fashion Tree Lighting. Join us

Dave's Jingle Dash is set for December 2 in Calvert City Memorial Park!
Dave Chumbler is a Calvert City. He is 65 years old and is a local celebrity and he is raising money to buy Christmas presents for the Marshall County Family Resource Center.
With your funds last year, Dave and members of the Marshall County Exceptional Center purchased Christmas presents for many children in our area last year! He has a goal of $3000 and we know he can meet it this year!
After the event, Dave will take the funds earned and go Christmas shopping with the Family Resource Center crew! Dave won't be shopping alone though - The Marshall County Exceptional Students will be joining him to shop till they drop!
Dave asks that you wear your ugliest sweater and participate in this fun-filled event! Join us for a 5K, and a .5 fun walk around Memorial Park!
All proceeds will be donated to the Marshall County Family Resource Center.

Pre-packet pickup is at Snap Fitness of Calvert City on December 1 from 4-6 PM
Race Day Registration - 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM. Registration closes at 7:00 AM on December 2.
