This exciting event takes place in the charming town of Dawson, Lac Qui Parle, starting at 8:30 AM right outside the Dawson City Building. Participants can choose between a fun-filled 5K run or a delightful 1-mile trot, making it a perfect outing for families and friends.
This year, the Turkey Trot celebrates its 4th annual run, teaming up with the amazing preschool teachers, Miss Steph and Miss Kassi, from Dawson-Boyd School. Not only will you enjoy a fantastic day of fitness and community spirit, but you'll also be supporting local early childhood programs through the event's fundraising efforts. Join us for a memorable morning filled with enthusiasm, camaraderie, and a chance to contribute to enriching activities for our youngest kids in the district. We can't wait to see you there!

The race starts at 8:30 AM right outside the Dawson City Building on Thursday, November 27th.
The Turkey Trot will be teaming up with Dawson-Boyd School Preschool teachers, Miss Steph and Miss Kassi for the 4th annual event! Fundraising efforts will be used to offer additional events and supplies put on my our early childhood program. These two teachers do a fantastic job at offering magicians, circus activities and other programs/event to support our youngest kiddos in the district.
