REGISTRATION PAGE OF THE 2ND ANNUAL DEBERRY DASH FUN RUN.

This event is completely student-led by the Manvel HS (MHS) National Honor Society and will benefit a former MHS teacher, Dustin DeBerry, who has impacted our education significantly and never failed to encourage and support us.

In February 2023, his then-9 year-old son, William "Liam" DeBerry, was diagnosed with Burkitts Lymphoma/Leukemia, a form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. In the few months since he was first diagnosed, he has had to endure, in addition to grueling rounds of chemotherapy, multiple devastating surgeries to his organs and his limbs due to complications of this treatment. This has, expectedly, taken a toll on Liam and his parents, who have to alternate shifts to be by his side, but also on Liam's younger siblings throughout his hospitalization.

Through this Fun Run, we plan to help bring awareness to the situation and help support Liam and his family.

At this event, we plan to have an Opening Ceremony, Kids K, Chip-Timed 5K, a Blood Drive benefiting Liam, Entertainment, Vendors, Booths from the MHS Clubs/Orgs. and more!

Proceeds made through this Fun Run will benefit the DeBerry Family.
