Organiser's Description
The DECA Dash 5K Run/Walk will kick off at the Ridgewood Wild Duck Pond in Ridgewood, New Jersey. This 5K fundraiser will take place down the Wild Duck Pond. Participants will run along the beautiful trail taking in the sights while also running to raise money.
This is a student-run event. Funds raised from this event will benefit our local DECA chapter, an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
The DECA Dash 5K Run/Walk aims to raise money to help finance our chapter's competitions and make them more affordable for students. Additionally, 10% of our profits will go towards verified charities that spread access to education.
