Athletes will kick off the race with a 600-meter wetsuit-friendly swim in one of the world’s two unique circular lakes, followed by a thrilling 16-mile bike ride through the rolling hills of the Eucheeanna Valley. Runners will then complete their triathlon with a flat 5K run, taking in the charm of historic homes along the route.
After crossing the finish line, participants can look forward to a delicious celebration featuring pulled pork sandwiches and a refreshing free beer at the Last Stop Beer Vault. Not only is this event a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself and connect with fellow triathletes, but it also supports local non-profits, with nearly $6,000 donated last year alone. This popular Sprint Triathlon is celebrating our 7th year in 2027. Enjoy a safe and scenic race while enjoying the beauty of historic Defuniak Springs located in the Florida panhandle. Our racers enjoy a 600 meter wet suit friendly swim in one of the world's two circular lakes, a 16 mile bike ride through the rolling hills of the Eucheeanna Valley and finish with a 5k flat run passing by the historic homes of Defuniak Springs.
Enjoy pulled pork sandwiches after the race and Celebration Party at the Last Stop Beer Vault complete with a free beer!
