THE RUN BEFORE THE PARADE! THOUSANDS OF CHEERING SPECTATORS ALONG BEAUTIFUL, TREE-LINED, MANATEE AVENUE MAKE THIS A UNIQUE 5K EXPERIENCE.
RUNNERS WILL RACE AN OUT-AND-BACK COURSE ALONG THE ROUTE OF THE HERNANDO DE SOTO HISTORICAL SOCIETY HERITAGE FESTIVAL GRAND PARADE ON MANATEE AVENUE DOWN TO AROUND 37TH ST W AND BACK TO DOWNTOWN OLD MAIN. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SPECTACULAR PARADES IN THE SOUTHEASTERN UNITED STATES. THE START AND FINISH LINE ARE NEAR OLD MAIN AND MANATEE AVE. NEW THIS YEAR - RACE STARTS AT 5:00 PM.
